Severe missile and drone attack on Chuhuiv: dozens injured, fatalities reported, extensive destruction
In the evening, Russian occupation forces launched a powerful strike on the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region, utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the regional military administration, at least 11 people were injured, including two minors—a 10-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl. By Saturday morning, rescue services are still working to extinguish a large fire at one of the damaged sites in the city, where buildings are burning and structures have been destroyed. The UAV strikes also hit a postal office and an abandoned building, resulting in fires. Residential houses and personal vehicles have been damaged, and infrastructure has suffered significant destruction. Overall, on July 4, the Kharkiv region experienced yet another human tragedy — one person died, and 15 others were wounded, including two children. In Kupiansk, a 55-year-old woman was killed, and three others aged 56, 70, and 61 were injured. This latest attack exemplifies the relentless nature of Russian strikes against Ukrainian territory, this time employing attack drones and high-destructive capacity aircraft tools, causing widespread devastation.
