Four Ukrainians Injured in a Bus Accident in Germany: Incident Details and Status of the Victims
A serious traffic accident occurred in Germany, causing injuries among several Ukrainian passengers and attracting significant public attention. According to diplomatic sources and the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, early Friday near the town of Rebell in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a major collision took place involving a bus transporting tourists and travelers. The accident resulted in 23 individuals injured, including four Ukrainian nationals born in 2004, 2006, and 2007. It was initially reported that the bus driver was unharmed, while the injured passengers were hospitalized. One injured Ukrainian woman, with multiple bruises and hematomas, received necessary medical care and is currently under observation at a local hospital. According to the MFA, she plans to return home as early as Saturday. The other three Ukrainian victims, after medical examination and assistance, were provided with free tickets to continue their journey or return home. This incident is part of a series of recent road traffic accidents on international routes. On June 30, a Ukrainian bus was involved in an accident in Romania, resulting in one Ukrainian woman being injured and casualties among Romanian microbus passengers, with one person deceased. Earlier in June, near the city of Constanța, a bus en route from Odesa overturned, injuring four people. These events highlight the ongoing challenges related to road safety and passenger protection in international bus travel.
