Ukrainian Defense Forces Report Over 120 Enemy Killed in One Day on Pokrovsk Direction
According to official reports from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the situation along the Pokrovsk frontline remains tense but under control, with Ukrainian soldiers continuing to effectively confront enemy forces. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders managed to eliminate more than 120 invaders, marking a significant achievement in their defensive efforts. As detailed in the evening briefing of July 2nd, on this part of the front, Ukrainian troops neutralized 124 enemy personnel and wounded an additional 87. Beyond personnel losses, defenders destroyed 13 motorcycles, two artillery pieces, six UAVs, and three satellite communication terminals. They also damaged four motorcycles, two artillery guns, three mortars, and three enemy shelters. According to the General Staff, during this period, Ukrainian forces also destroyed two artillery systems and three satellite communication terminals. Today, a total of 41 clashes occurred on the Pokrovsk sector, out of 140 skirmishes recorded across the entire front since the start of the day. The operations are ongoing, and Ukrainian defenders continue to hold their positions, inflicting losses on the enemy and preventing any advances.
