Russian Attacks in Dnipropetrovsk Region: Man Killed and Infrastructure Damaged
In the evening, as a result of relentless shelling by Russian forces on the Velykomykhailivska community in Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk region, a tragic incident occurred: one man was killed, and a private residential building sustained significant damage. According to official reports confirmed by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysa, the enemy launched an attack using a guided aerial bomb, commonly known as a KAB, during the morning hours. The strike resulted not only in the death of a civilian man but also in the destruction of a private house. One person was injured and hospitalized. This event is part of an ongoing series of Russian attacks on the region that have been escalating since early summer. For example, on July 1, Russian troops launched a missile strike with two ballistic missiles on Huliaipole, damaging buildings and injuring several civilians. The next day, July 2, the region experienced further drone attacks targeting infrastructure—harming a private enterprise in Kryvyi Rih and an agricultural farm in the Samarivskyi district, leaving one person wounded. These continuous assaults underscore the severity and cruelty of Russia’s ongoing aggression in the region, which increasingly disrupts the lives of local residents and destroys their sense of security.
