Two Civilians Wounded in Kharkiv Region During Russian FPV Drone Attacks
The Kharkiv region has experienced new incidents linked to nighttime attacks by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles, known as FPV drones. According to Oleksii Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, two civilians were hospitalized after being hit during Russian drone strikes on July 2. The victims include a 64-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both residents of the region. The attacks took place in the villages of Vesele, part of the Lipetska community, and Shestakove, within the Starosaltivska community. In Vesele, the 64-year-old local resident sustained injuries caused by an explosion, while in Shestakove, the 20-year-old was wounded during the raid. Both individuals were promptly hospitalized, where medical professionals are providing necessary aid. These events confirm ongoing hostilities and highlight the persistent threat faced by civilians in the region amidst the complex security situation.
