Enemy Drones Cause Devastation and Losses in Kharkiv Region: Destruction and Human Casualties in Kupiansk District
On the night of July 2, a significant armed attack shook the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region, leading to extensive destruction and tragic human losses. Authorities confirmed that enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) targeted several locations, including the village of Borivske and surrounding areas. According to Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, multiple drones of the 'Geran-2' type were launched, resulting in massive fires at storage facilities, agricultural enterprises, and on transport vehicles. The attack was a deliberate strike on vital infrastructure in Borivske, where a fire covering over 800 square meters was reported, destroying warehouses, hay bales, and several minibuses. Fortunately, emergency services managed to contain the fire, but casualties occurred. Earlier reports also indicate that three Russian 'Geran' drones attacked the village of Voloskaya Balakliya, causing fires in storage buildings on a farm. Authorities and rescue teams continue to work tirelessly to mitigate the consequences of the attacks, while local residents remain eager for further information and aid to recover from this aggression.
