Ukrainian Intelligence Services Strike Supply Routes of the Occupiers in Zaporizhzhia Region
In the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian intelligence agencies, including the Security Service and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, orchestrated a significant operation targeting the logistical arteries of the Russian invaders. They successfully disrupted one of the critical railway lines used by the enemy for transporting military supplies and equipment in the occupied territories. According to sources from Ukrainian intelligence, on June 26th, a daring sabotage action took place — an explosion on a railway section halted the train movements that Russian forces relied on for logistics. As a result, for more than a week, the supply of ammunition, fuel, and other vital materials was severely impeded, considerably hampering the functioning of the occupation administration. In response, the Russians attempted to restore the railway quickly, and by July 1st, they had repaired the rails and launched a military freight train. However, shortly thereafter, another sabotage incident occurred — an enemy locomotive was destroyed, and the efforts of the occupiers to maintain operational logistics failed once again. This event marked a significant victory for Ukrainian forces and demonstrated the difficulty the invaders face in maintaining a stable logistical network in occupied territories. Previously, on June 26th, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted fuel and missile arsenals in Bryansk, further emphasizing the effectiveness of Ukrainian intelligence and sabotage operations deep in the enemy’s rear.
