Russian Drones Strike Dnipropetrovsk Farms Again: Massive Fires and Devastation
On the night of July 1st, Russian forces once again launched a drone and artillery attack on the territory of Dnipropetrovsk region. The strikes predominantly targeted agricultural farms in the Synelnykivskyi district, specifically in the Pokrovska and Velykomykhailivska communities. According to the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, the attacks resulted in large fires, significant damage to machinery, and destruction of property. Fortunately, no injuries among civilians were reported. "Both farms caught fire. Firefighters are currently working on extinguishing the blazes and mitigating consequences," he stated on Telegram. Additionally, Russian troops employed artillery and FPV drones in the Nikopol district, hitting the district center as well as the villages of Myrivska and Chervonohryhorivska communities. An administrative building was damaged but was not used for residential purposes, and no casualties were noted. These events underscore the ongoing danger for local residents and highlight the destructive impact of Russian aggression on regional stability. Local authorities urge residents to stay alert and follow safety guidelines, including evacuation protocols. The extent of the destruction is still being assessed, but it is clear that these strikes will leave a lasting mark on the region’s infrastructure and require weeks of recovery.
