New Advances by Occupiers in Donetsk Region: Capture of Koptevo Village and Further Russian Military Progress
In the ongoing conflict zone in eastern Ukraine, alarming reports have emerged regarding increased activity from Russian occupation forces. According to the independent monitoring project DeepState, enemy troops have made significant advances within the Donetsk region, capturing the strategic village of Koptevo and moving into other key settlements. Official sources confirm that the Russians have occupied Koptevo, as well as entered areas around Toretsk, Novoserhiivka, near Diliivka, Myrne, Raziine, Vesela and Komar. These developments represent an evolution of previous military operations, which intensified at the end of June when invaders seized Novosilka, Zaporizhzhia and Odradne, advancing towards Yalta, Vesela and Stepoe. Earlier in June, reports indicated that Russian forces had taken over the villages of Andriivka and Kostiantynpil, and as early as June 23, attempts were recorded to push into regions such as Klishiivka, Dachne, Toretsk, Fedorivka and Shevchenkiv. These events underline a clear trend of escalation in hostilities across strategic points in the region, casting doubt on prospects for quick stabilization or peace in the near future.
