Russian Drones Attack Kharkiv Region: Damaged Buildings and Large-scale Fires
On the night of Monday, June 30th, the Kharkiv region was once again targeted by Russian unmanned aerial vehicles, resulting in significant destruction and widespread fires across several settlements. According to Oleksiy Synyehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, three localities were affected during this attack, which posed a serious challenge to civilians and infrastructure alike. In Piskychnye, a drone strike damaged a vehicle maintenance station, triggering a fire. In the village of Kurortne in the Chuhuiv district, a civilian building was hit, causing it to catch fire. In Dergachi, fragments of the UAV damaged a residential building, leading to a blaze. Synyehubov emphasized that, so far, there have been no reports of casualties among the civilian population. This latest assault underscores Russia’s ongoing aggression, and local residents are already preparing for potential further threats and consequences stemming from these hostilities.
