In July of this year, Ukraine could witness significant political reshuffles within the Cabinet of Ministers, heralding a new phase in the country's leadership. According to recent sources, the candidacy of Vice Prime Minister Julia Sviridenko is being considered for the position of Prime Minister, sparking considerable interest among political analysts and experts. Reports indicate that Sviridenko plans to bring a team of at least three close associates into the government, raising questions about personnel changes and their implications for executive governance. The decision on her appointment could be made as early as July through parliamentary voting. If successful, Sviridenko will assume the reins of the country's executive branch, potentially reshaping Ukraine’s political landscape. Additionally, the new government structure is expected to include Natalya Alyushina, head of the National Agency of Civil Service, as the Minister of Cabinet of Ministers. There is also a possibility of appointing Konstantin Marevich, the first deputy secretary of the Cabinet, to further balance political influence within the government. Sviridenko aims to retain control over the Ministry of Economy by installing her deputy, Oleksiy Sobolev, in the ministerial position. Furthermore, she is considering replacing the current Minister of Social Policy, Oksana Zholnovich, with her substantive deputy, Tetyana Berezhna. Overall, this scenario presents an opportunity to form a more centralized and manageable government team, potentially shifting Ukraine’s policy trajectory in the coming months.
