In the Kyiv region, investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation detained four servicemen from one of the military units who refused to comply with an order to move to the combat zone. Their refusal to fulfill military duties during a state of war has been classified as a serious violation. According to the Bureau, all four individuals have been formally charged under Part 4 of Article 402 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — disobedience in wartime. They are currently in custody, with the law allowing for imprisonment of up to 10 years for such offenses. Reports indicate that these soldiers, despite being fit for service, repeatedly refused to set out to the designated area, causing concern and strict response from military and law enforcement authorities. Such actions undermine discipline and threaten operational security during this critical period of conflict escalation in Ukraine.
