Russian Drones Strike Civilians in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk Regions: Fatal Attacks on Vehicles
On June 29, the regions of Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk experienced tragic events as Russian unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones, targeted civilian vehicles traveling along regional roads. These attacks resulted in devastating consequences, including the deaths of two civilians and severe injuries to another. According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the morning incident occurred near the village of Prykolotne, where a drone struck a car moving along the highway. As a result, a 60-year-old man died instantly, while a 59-year-old driver sustained explosive injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition. Later reports from the small Malykhailivska community in Dnipropetrovsk region confirmed that an FPV drone also attacked a vehicle there. Tragically, a 72-year-old man inside the car was killed in this attack. These brazen assaults serve as a stark reminder of the increasing danger faced by civilians in the region, where daily life is fraught with constant threats of shelling and drone strikes, leaving residents in a perpetual state of uncertainty and fear.
