Kharkiv Resident Discovers Enemy Drone in His Garden, Preventing Potential Disaster
An incident occurred in Kharkiv that could have ended in tragedy but was fortunately resolved without serious consequences. A local resident, while working on his land plot, unexpectedly found an unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to the enemy — a 'Lightning-2' drone. The device was located within his private garden enclosure and, luckily, did not detonate, which could have resulted in catastrophic damage. According to Oleksiy Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, this event served as a wake-up call for the local community. He reported on Telegram that bomb disposal experts from the State Emergency Service promptly arrived at the scene and neutralized the dangerous device, thereby saving lives and health. The regional official added that no one was injured and no significant damage was inflicted on buildings or infrastructure. This incident underscores the importance of vigilance and caution when working on land plots in or near conflict zones, as even a casual discovery of such devices can save lives and prevent tragedies.
