According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, as a result of the enemy’s aggressive actions, 13 civilians were wounded. Data from the regional prosecutor’s office indicate that since the start of the large-scale war, the total number of fatalities in the region has reached 3,270, and those wounded — 7,326. However, these statistics do not include the victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha, which suggests that the actual number of casualties is significantly higher. The greatest number of victims was recorded in the city of Sviatohirsk, where five residents were injured in recent shelling. There, once again, they emphasize the cynicism of Russian attacks, as civilians remain the primary target of the aggression. In addition to Sviatohirsk, in the villages of Ocheretynne, Hruzke, and Myrhorod, eight more people were affected by Russian strikes: three wounded in Ocheretynne, and two each in Hruzke and Myrhorod. In the city of Lyman, one person was injured. Already on June 18, news emerged about a bold strike by Russian forces on Sviatohirsk. According to local prosecutors, the occupiers used a S-300 anti-aircraft missile complex to attack one of the residential districts, resulting in five civilians being injured. This once again confirms the pattern of targeted attacks on the peaceful population, which has tragically become a reality in Donetsk. Russian aggression continues unabated, and civilian casualties grow each day. Destroyed buildings, frightened children, shattered lives — all have become an inseparable part of life for the residents of this region. While the international community calls for a ceasefire, Ukrainian citizens are forced daily to confront the destructive power of the occupation army, which leaves traces not only in the land but also in the hearts of people.
