In Donetsk Oblast, a tragic aftermath has been recorded over the past day following another massive shelling by Russian forces: a civilian woman has died and several people have been wounded, many in serious condition

The information was confirmed by Vadym Fílashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, in his official Telegram channel, emphasizing that the situation remains extremely tense. According to the regional leader, the missile and drone strikes on Donetsk Oblast occurred on Saturday morning and caused tragic consequences for the civilian population. Specifically, in the settlement of Yablunivka in the Illinivska community, Russian FPV drones delivered a deadly blow — a 27-year-old woman was killed as a result of the shelling, and a local shop was destroyed and damaged, further highlighting the scale of destruction and human loss. Additionally, in the same area, the enemy attacked a civilian vehicle with a drone. As a result, several people were injured, including a minor child. Overall, five residents of the Andriivska community were wounded as a result of missile or drone strikes, including one child under 18 years old. It is preliminary known that the condition of the injured remains serious, and they are receiving necessary medical assistance. Furthermore, the shelling affected other cities of the region. In Pokrovsk, two people were wounded, and one in Pryvokadske. All victims are currently under medical supervision. Local authorities and civil protection services are working intensively and doing everything possible to prevent further casualties and the spread of destruction. The population's and authorities' reaction to this tragic event again underscores the difficulty of the situation in Donetsk Oblast, where civilians face daily danger due to Russian shelling. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and local administrations call on residents to be cautious, follow safety rules, and not ignore alarm signals. Official figures emphasize that the war continues, and the daily struggle for citizens' lives and safety remains their top priority. This attack once again reminds us of the ruthless and merciless confrontation that has been unfolding in Donetsk for over a year, destroying cities, wrecking infrastructure, and taking lives. Local authorities and volunteers call for unity and support for those affected, as each death is a loss to the entire community, and each new injury serves as a reminder of the need to strengthen defenses and aid those most in need. The citizens of Donetsk again find themselves at the epicenter of a war showcasing its destructive power every day, fighting to survive under the most brutal conditions. Authorities emphasize: the fight continues, and together with the community, everyone must do everything possible to restore peace and safety in the region.
