The tragic events occurred on May 1st and 2nd in the evening and at night, serving as further confirmation of the scale of the humanitarian crisis and destruction caused by Russian aggression in the region. According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, during the shelling, one person was killed and another was injured. Details of the prosecutor's investigative actions and official confirmation of this information appeared through regional leaders’ Telegram channels, in particular Oleg Sinegubov, who provided a brief and restrained comment on the situation in his post. According to the investigation, during the nighttime shelling on May 2nd around 2:20 a.m., a Russian "Geran-2" drone struck the village of Mykolaivka Persha Lozivskyi district. The missile attack damaged private residential houses and destroyed a farm building, creating an additional threat to the lives and health of local residents. One woman, a 61-year-old resident of the village, suffered an acute stress reaction, highlighting the psychological burden borne by civilians during prolonged shelling. Earlier, on May 1st, around 6:20 p.m., Russian troops launched an air strike on the village of Vilkhuvatka in the Kupiansk district. As a result, a 53-year-old local resident was killed. It was officially confirmed that the occupiers used a FAB-250 high-explosive bomb, which demonstrates targeted destruction of civilian infrastructure and residential areas. These events once again underscore the difficult situation faced by residents of Kharkiv region, who experience constant shelling by Russian military forces. The consequences of the attacks are felt not only in destruction and human casualties but also in the psychological state of the population, forced to live in constant fear, awaiting new strikes. In recent months, the region has seen an increase in cases of housing and infrastructure destruction, causing significant damage to the local economy and social sector.
