So, President Zelensky, you said that Russia must end this war that it has unleashed. President Trump. You said that President Zelensky, uh, President Trump can end the war whenever he wants.

Yes, I think that's true. We will have a trilateral meeting. If today's meeting goes well, I sincerely hope so. Please tell me, we know how important American support is to Ukraine.

Please tell me whether today's mouth People are dying. We want to stop this war. I think we have a good chance of doing it, because the war has been going on for almost four years and a lot of people are dying. A lot of soldiers, a lot of civilians.

And I think you contacted Putin on Friday. Have you heard what Ukraine wants? Is she ready to go on those deliveries? I repeat, this is not my war, this is not Biden's war. And many people want this war to end.

We know how great suffering is. President Zelensky, are you ready to send Ukrainian soldiers to the battlefield in the coming years? Thank you for your question. I will say that first of all we are talking about losses, a lot of casualties.

Children are dying, children, one and a half year old children. And we must end this war. And we cannot do this without the help of our American and European partners. I am, we have proven to the whole world that we are truly a strong people.

And we were able to persevere thanks to the efforts of President Trump. And we are truly doing everything diplomatically to end this war. We are ready for trilateral negotiations, as Pasich said.

So, if a peace agreement is reached, or American peacekeepers are sent to Ukraine, we will work with Ukraine, we will work with other countries. And we are truly aiming for lasting peace.

No, we are not talking about a two-year lull. No, we want this to last a long time. And we will do everything to make such agreements work. So if we can reach peace, everything will work out.

There is no doubt. Your team talked about security guarantees. Please tell me, will EU troops be involved in this? Maybe tonight you'll find out, because there will be seven wonderful leaders who will be talking. And I think there will be a lot of different messages, there will be a lot of help, especially when we talk about security, about security guarantees, especially on the first line of defense, we will do everything we can.

Vladimir Putin mentioned that the war will not end without eliminating the root causes of this conflict. Do you have an understanding of what he means by these root causes? Yes, the war will end.

I can't tell you when it will end, but the war is already coming to an end. This gentleman wants to end this war. Putin wants to complete it.

I think the whole world is tired of this war. And therefore we will do everything to complete it. I personally completed six wars. I will say that this conflict is extremely tough.

There are many different reasons for this conflict. We've been talking about this for a long time, but there was also a conflict between India and Pakistan and other states. And so if you look at any war, whether it's Africa, Rwanda, Congo, the Republic of Congo, there was a conflict there for 31 years.

But I will say that we, the United States as a whole, have ended six wars and we are ready to end the next ones. And you know how we fought against the deployment and development of a nuclear program in Iran recently.

I think I have a feeling we'll get through this. Thank you, Mr. President. Please tell me about your conversation with European leaders. Who will support who wants to end the war? Yes, this is a wonderful representative group, I would say.

Mr. President, the First Lady wrote such a touching letter, which was delivered to Putin. He calls for an end to the war because of children, because of the future of children. Please tell me why the First Lady felt the need for this letter? After all, Putin is an aggressor.

Was such a letter also sent to Zelensky? The First Lady, she is very meticulous in following events, just like you and I. And I see things that you don't see, they're terrible.

But I will say that she has children, she has a son whom she loves very much and loves me, but she loves children very much, she loves her son. And so it's very touching for her.

She can't stand it when this happens, when children die. This is heartbreaking, especially for parents who are forced to bury their children. And that's why such feelings were raging in her soul.

And she decided to send and deliver such a letter to him. She told me that she would really like this war to end. She said it openly and so proudly, she declared it.

So, you said that after a war you can't have elections. So I want to say that yes, we can, as long as we have a war, then we won't have elections. That's great.

No-no-no. So, look, I'm even, you know, afraid to ask this, but tell me, please, what do you think that the American media, they do n't even want this peace, because it looks like they're making accusations about your peace efforts? Yes, this is just such a unique phenomenon. After all, people who live hundreds of miles away can say that I made a bad agreement about something, start criticizing, but they don't think about what I think.

We have wonderful people on our team, and they think they are terrible people. And so I will say that when I try to resolve all these conflicts, I always tell myself that the result is what matters. Yes, we ended some wars faster, some we ended longer.

I already mentioned the war in Rwanda, which lasted for over 30 years. But they don't even write about it. They don't write about achievements.

Despite everything, despite all the efforts I make, despite everything I do, they will always find a place to throw a grain of criticism. And so I do whatever I think is right from my perspective.

And it suits you, Mr. Zelensky. Maybe it will suit Putin too, but the media will say that Trump was just being terrible at his job. And so I will say that yes, before everyone praised me, now everyone just criticizes me, but I am ready for that.

They need to understand what my contribution is. But there are other wonderful reporters, wonderful journalists who understand what I do. But it's actually very sad when you're doing what's right.

Others don't notice it. They'll say, "Because Putin stepped on U.S. soil, this is an absolute defeat for Donald Trump. But I'll say that when Putin stepped on our soil, it was difficult for him to do so.

And this is actually the opposite of what the media is saying. But that's how they're presenting it. We know that there's this kind of cunningness in the press, because it's about credibility, how much we should trust the media.

I'll say that in the District of Columbia, uh, we moved to a place that's not exactly safe, but I'll tell you that even the Democrats thanked me for the first time in four years that now Washington County is safe. And so I'll say that recently my son, who plays golf well, and he said recently that, and also my friend from Europe said that yes, my son is going to go to this state.

Why? Because now he's already safe. Before, he wouldn't have let him in. And he, and some in the media are saying, "Look, there's a dictator here and he's acting." Yes. No, I want security for people.

I want them not to be afraid to go to Washington, to feel safe there. Well, if, for example, if you can walk around your city without your protection and you won't be attacked, then the city is safe. Yes, they talked about serious consequences if there is a 30-week ceasefire, but you know that Russia doesn't react to these ceasefires.

What will these actions be? Yes, I have already mentioned wars. Wars that have lasted for over 30 years. Now I am not interested in a ceasefire.

I am interested in ending the war. I am aimed at acting strategically, because it often happens that when there is a suspension, a freeze in the conflict, then the opponents simply begin to build up their military power and then attack after a while. And I don't want that to happen.

I want peace in the long term. Well, but I like a ceasefire because people simply stop dying. Now we are working on such an agreement. And I want both sides to stop shooting, but we have to remember the strategic one here.

That's why all these agreements that I made, I didn't even mention a word about a ceasefire. Well, tell me, please, are you ready to offer Ukraine the use of Article 5 if, for example, Russia attacks? We haven't talked about it yet. I think we've always talked about the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO.

We haven't discussed it yet, but we, for our part, are really committed to providing good protection. I think we'll be able to do it in a Russian way.

Thank you, President Trump. Well, the United States has already transferred hundreds of billions of dollars to Ukraine. And I think now it's important how much longer you, America, are ready to help Ukraine, and President Zelensky, how much more do you want? I'll say that we're not giving anything.

We're selling weapons. And you know, I think there was an amount of over 300 billion dollars there. Joe Biden gave all this away.

He's a corrupt politician. But I I will say that even 40 years ago he was not a very intelligent man. I will say that such military aid was provided by a corrupt administration.

And if I were president, this war would never have happened and he would be so happy. He is Vladimir, he is going through hell now, but this war would not have happened. And these people lived there.

A million people, soldiers, civilians died. And people are simply displaced persons. They were forced to be refugees in other countries. This simply would not have happened.

And I want to emphasize that Biden was simply a terrible president. He was corrupt. Thank you. First, I will say that we have the opportunity to buy weapons thanks to this program. Thank you to Europe.

Europe pays for this. And they are, that is, we already have specific programs that we produce weapons, and we can also purchase them. This is already very important.

Yes, this is our contribution. This is a contribution to our defense, to our protection. But it is very important for us to have security guarantees. We must rearm the Ukrainian army.

This is extremely important. In the past, we really had to close our skies, strengthen our defenses. We really thought about solutions with American manufacturers, European manufacturers.

It was very important for us to have Patriot systems. We had an urgent need. We make the best military equipment in the world. We came up with the Patriots.

And I will say that we know how effective these systems are. They simply neutralize missiles flying in the sky, and they hit their targets almost 100%, from 99 to 100%. We translate, we sell this equipment to NATO, and NATO already decides, they have their own agreements on how they will transfer these weapons to Ukraine.

They pay for it. There was no ban. I will say that the losses for America there are over $300 billion. But I will say that we have made more progress in the last two months than the Biden administration has made in years.

There was a comment on social media that you should please explain your recent posts. Yes, when I talk about specific individuals, yes, they are corrupt. And we, the Republican Party, really want to ensure that the US continues to have a two-party system.

Why? Because other parties can be corrupt. I will say that we are the only country in the world that uses specific ballots that cannot be forged. And we know that a lot of money is allocated for this.

They are even ten times more expensive there than paper ballots. We are strengthening security. You see how quickly we count, we count the votes. You can count in two weeks, but if we have these very new ballots, then we can count the results much faster compared to paper ballots.

Paper ballots, they are very important, maybe even more important. And that is why we will do everything to There was no other way to vote. Even Jemikar talked about it.

So it's important now that the Republicans take such a tough stance on this. After all, what the Democrats want, we can't support it. Yes, they say terrible things.

transgender for all and open borders and all that. They love crime. They attack me for that, for my statements. They said that Washington is very dangerous, there is crime on the streets.

We want elections to be transparent and fair. They, you know, they even approached me at the election, at the polling station, said: "Give me your rights, give me this." That's why we are taking action to counteract the Democrats. Well, for this I am sure that we have to act seriously here. Republicans are ready for fair elections.

The first is a strong Ukrainian army. There is a lot of talk about weapons, and about systems, and also about intelligence data. And the second point, we will discuss today with our partners, with the big countries, the United States and the European ones.

Yes, what protection? Well, I will say that we will do everything, in particular with those who are waiting for us now, the leaders of the European countries who are waiting for us, they want to provide this protection that you are asking about. And I support them in this.

This is very important. It is important to conclude an agreement. You have been involved in creating peace in Ukraine from the first day of your presidency. Tell us, please, what can you say to the people of Ukraine, who are suffering from continuous attacks from Russia? I know the Ukrainian people, they are smart, they are energetic, they are huge patriots, they evoke great love for Ukraine.

And I also love the people of Ukraine, but I love all people. I love Russians, I love everyone and peoples. I want to end the war.

We expect, were you disappointed after the dialogue with Putin, after your discussion. I was just telling President Zelensky that I spoke to President Putin indirectly and I will have a phone conversation with him this evening. And after that I hope there will be a trilateral dialogue and after that we will see what the results will be.
