How Our Brain Forgets Negative Events
Well, this is mostly about emotional events with a negative sign.
That is, these are traumatic events that we find unpleasant to remember.
That is, it was something that either threatened our life or dignity, or put us in some very unattractive situation.
Of course, everyone has some memories that they simply don't want to return to.
And this is called motivational forgetting.That is, a person consciously blocks this memory because it causes them unpleasant feelings.
