What is declarative memory? #Memory #Neurobiology #Brain
That is, in fact, this is the memory that we can put into words, describe anything, and this is called declarative memory.
We can declare it and accordingly it is formed somewhere, uh, well, from the age of three, when the child, in fact, already has it, they have learned to speak and they have learned to tell something about themselves.
So, going back to children, up to the age of two or three, this implicit memory actually works the most, because they do everything by imitating.
everything they do is remembered as a sequence of actions.
But it's difficult to describe, because this linguistic conceptual apparatus doesn't yet exist.
Therefore, we can say that up to this point, such a declarative memory is not, well, it does not exist, and therefore the child cannot describe it.
