Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen publicly stated that the current situation across the continent is among the most challenging and serious since World War II.

She emphasized that Russia aims to weaken the unity of European countries and sow divisions within societies, attempting to undermine regional stability and security.

Frederiksen highlighted that Russia’s aggression will not go unnoticed in Europe and called on Nordic countries to stand in solidarity and support Ukraine, which now serves as the continent’s primary line of defense.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of rearming and strengthening defense capabilities among EU nations to be prepared for any challenges and threats.

She made it clear that Russia must realize its attacks and attempts to weaken the Western world are doomed to fail, assuring that Europe has the means to protect its citizens and values.

Amid recent drone attacks and incidents involving unmanned aerial vehicles, Denmark is preparing to enhance its operational readiness and bolster protective measures.

She underscored that a coordinated strategy and unity are essential to counter current challenges, advocating for joint efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
