Sweden Prepares for Massive Military Support to Ukraine: Plans to Sell 120 Gripen Fighters
In recent developments from European news sources, significant information has emerged regarding a large-scale military cooperation between Sweden and Ukraine.
Reports indicate that the Swedish government is considering an ambitious plan to supply Ukraine with 120 state-of-the-art JAS 39 Gripen E fighters — the latest model developed by Saab.
This would be the largest such deal in Swedish history, surpassing previous sales that totaled around a dozen aircraft of the C/D version.
The Gripen E is notable for its extended flight range, advanced radar and electronic systems, making it one of the most effective fighter jets in its class.
