Chas Pravdy - 21 October 2025 16:27

In Russia, officials are maintaining secrecy around the details of a forthcoming summit between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Tuesday, October 21, that no specific dates or timelines for the Russia-U.S.

summit have been finalized.

He stated that while there is some mutual understanding between the leaders regarding the possibility of meeting, no concrete arrangements or fixed dates have been established, as no formal agreements have been made.

Peskov emphasized that organizing such a meeting requires significant preparation and careful consideration of numerous factors, making the process quite challenging.

He also noted that proposals for discussion topics will not be publicly disclosed to preserve confidentiality and ensure the effectiveness of the negotiations.

As of now, there remains no clear timeline or agenda, and any public speculation about potential topics would only complicate the planning process.
