Sniper Nest Discovered Near Palm Beach Airport: A New Challenge to U.S. Presidential Security

Chas Pravdy - 20 October 2025 01:27

Recently, a suspicious sniper hideout was uncovered near Palm Beach International Airport in Florida.

The location, which is positioned directly overlooking the route where President Donald Trump usually exits Air Force One to reach his Mar-a-Lago estate, has raised serious security concerns.

It is believed that the hideout may have been constructed several months ago, but only now has it come to public attention.

Following the discovery, the U.S.

Secret Service, the FBI, and other agencies intensified their investigations to determine the circumstances and identify those responsible.

FBI Director Chris Wray confirmed that investigators are currently focused on finding individuals involved in setting up this position, although no concrete charges have been made yet. This incident has occurred against the backdrop of increasing attention to Donald Trump’s security.

Just weeks ago, 59-year-old Ryan Ruut was detained and convicted for attempting to attack Trump during a golf game in Palm Beach.

Ruut had established a sniper position in nearby bushes and was charged with multiple federal crimes, including attempted assassination of a presidential candidate, assault on federal officers, and illegal weapon possession.Additionally, previous assassination attempts on Trump have heightened concerns.

In July 2024, during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, Trump was wounded in the ear.

Twenty-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks shot from a building rooftop near the rally site, killing one participant and wounding two others before being neutralized by security forces.

The series of incidents underscores increased security measures and active investigations to prevent future threats against the U.S.

leader.
