Start of the Week in Ukraine Brings Rain, Fog, and Cold Nights with Snow in Some Regions

The upcoming week in Ukraine begins with a variety of weather phenomena that pose additional challenges for residents and motorists.

According to forecasts from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Monday, October 20th, will bring rainy weather across most of the country, with some areas experiencing wet snow and thick fog.

Most regions, except for the western parts, will start the day with moderate rain, and at night, some locations may see wet snow.

On the south and east, precipitation will be light and localized.

Particularly in northern regions, fog is expected to persist, making driving and walking conditions more hazardous.

The wind will mainly be from the northwest at 5-10 meters per second.

Temperatures will range from +1 to +6°C at night, with possible frosts down to -4°C in western areas.

During the day, temperatures will rise to between +4 and +9°C.

In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, overcast weather with rain and nighttime wet snow and fog is forecasted.

The wind will blow from the northwest at 5-10 m/s.

Night temperatures in Kyiv will fluctuate between +2 and +4°C, while daytime will be from +7 to +9°C.

In the Kyiv region, nighttime temperatures will be between +1 and +6°C, and daytime from +4 to +9°C.

Meteorologists warn drivers and pedestrians to be cautious due to reduced visibility caused by fog and slippery road conditions overnight.
