Signum Battalion intensifies fight against ground and air drone traps in Lyman direction: eliminating threats on land and in the air

Chas Pravdy - 08 November 2025 01:28

The Signum battalion operating in the Lyman sector is actively engaging in counteracting enemy reconnaissance and sabotage devices, with a particular focus on drone mines left by occupying forces along roads and strategic locations.

According to military reports, the soldiers of Signum are not only destroying enemy reconnaissance drones and unmanned aerial vehicles used for surveillance or strikes from above but also actively detecting and neutralizing ground and wire traps left behind by the enemy.

These traps pose a significant threat, as the enemy uses drone mines to clandestinely monitor military columns and evacuation routes, creating dangerous obstacles for Ukrainian troops.

The battalion operators employ high vigilance and advanced technological equipment, enabling them to detect even the most well-concealed or camouflaged drones swiftly and accurately.

Video footage shows how Signum crews locate and eliminate enemy traps in real-time, aiming to protect their fellow soldiers and prevent casualties.

According to Oникс, a soldier from the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russian forces are trying to establish a foothold in the strategically vital Lyman area.

They have mobilized additional military equipment and personnel, indicating serious intentions to seize the town in order to create a launching pad for further advances toward Sloviansk and encircling Kramatorsk, thereby posing a heightened threat to Ukrainian defenses.
