Massive Russian Attack Causes Emergency Power Outages Across Ukraine
On the night of November 8, Ukraine was once again subjected to a large-scale missile attack by Russia, leading to significant disruptions in the country’s power infrastructure.
Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk reported that the enemy is deliberately targeting critical energy facilities, resulting in temporary emergency power shutdowns in several regions.
According to her, the situation remains tense, and rescue and energy services are working around the clock to eliminate the consequences of the attack and restore stability to the energy system.
She also noted that all outages will be canceled once the situation stabilizes.
This followed an air raid alert on November 7 across Ukraine, triggered by Russian MiG flights and the detection of cruise missiles, with the early hours of November 8 confirming ongoing active hostilities.
During this period, Ukraine also faced attacks using drones and ballistic missiles, highlighting the escalating conflict.
