Consequences of Russian Drone Strike in Dnipro: One Dead, Dozens Injured
On November 8, a devastating incident occurred in Dnipro — a Russian drone struck a nine-story residential building, causing significant destruction and tragedy.
According to the State Emergency Service, the impact led to the destruction of apartments on the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors.
Unfortunately, one person lost their life — a woman whose body was found at the scene.
Additionally, ten residents sustained injuries, including two children aged 2 and 13.
Following the drone hit, a fire broke out, which firefighters promptly extinguished.
Emergency teams managed to evacuate 28 people from the wrecked building, including five children.
A woman was found dead on the fifth floor.
Medical professionals and psychologists are providing assistance at the site, and several “Points of Resilience” have been set up—places where people can warm up and relax.
All relevant services are working tirelessly to address the aftermath of the attack.
It is also noteworthy that tonight, Kyiv suffered a fire caused by a drone attack as well.
Furthermore, in various regions of Ukraine, emergency power outages have been introduced as part of efforts to counter ongoing targeted strikes against critical infrastructure.
