Ukraine Announces Launch of Instructor School: A Step Toward Enhanced Military Training
The Head of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Operational Command, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, made an important announcement regarding upcoming changes in the military training system.
He stated that a new educational institution — the Instructor School — will be opened in our country in the near future, becoming a key element in strengthening the professional preparedness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to Syrskyi, the creation of this school will enable the effective transfer of combat experience and serve as the primary platform for training highly qualified instructors capable of responding swiftly to modern challenges.
The Commander emphasized that instructor training requires full focus and should avoid diversion into unrelated tasks, as the quality of instruction directly impacts combat readiness.
He also shared that work is ongoing to prepare platoon commanders and discussions are underway regarding the integration of different military units into a unified training system.
Thanks to these efforts, the duration of basic military training has been extended from 30 to 51 days, allowing the preparation of more competent and combat-ready personnel.
