Russian Drones Strike Energy Infrastructure in Odesa Region Again

Chas Pravdy - 07 November 2025 23:33

The military escalation in southern Ukraine continues.

On the evening of November 7, Russian forces carried out another attack on critical energy infrastructure in the Odesa region using attack drones.

According to Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleg Kiper, this assault was yet another confirmation of Russia’s ongoing strikes against key energy facilities in southern Ukraine.

He emphasized that despite effective work of Ukrainian air defense systems, significant damage to infrastructure was avoided, though there was some impact on the energy sector in the region.

At present, no information has been received about casualties or injuries, offering some hope that human losses were prevented.

Just before this attack, in the night of November 7, the region experienced a drone strike targeting energy objects, demonstrating the systematic pattern of Russian attacks aimed at weakening Ukraine’s critical infrastructure.
