Achelès Regiment: Ukraine’s Modern Defense Force in Action Against Occupiers in Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions

Chas Pravdy - 07 November 2025 19:44

The Ukrainian armed forces continue to deploy state-of-the-art unmanned systems to protect their positions and eliminate enemy forces.

A prime example is the Achelès Regiment, showcasing high-level combat preparedness and cutting-edge technology in the fight against occupation troops in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

According to regiment commander Yuriy Fedorenko, in October alone, their units neutralized over 193 enemy drones, including 67 “Shahed” drones, and destroyed 29 artillery systems, such as mortars, self-propelled guns, and rocket launchers.

Moreover, they struck over 132 radio-electronic reconnaissance devices and EW systems.

Particularly notable is the destruction of 1,452 enemy shelters and fortifications—130 of which were associated with drone operations and command posts.

Over the course of a month of intense combat, the regiment also neutralized 323 enemy personnel and wounded another 365.

Humanitarian aid plays a significant role in their mission: unmanned systems deliver food, medicines, and hygiene products to infantry units, completing over 1,200 humanitarian missions in October alone.

Yuriy Fedorenko emphasizes that the most active enemy attacks take place in the Kharkiv region, especially in Kupiansk, Pokrovsk, and Vovchansk, with ongoing combat in Dvorychna and Milove where sabotage groups are still hiding.

The Achelès Regiment is expanding its forces and actively recruiting new personnel through online platforms to bolster Ukraine’s defenses and continue fighting back against invaders.
