Ukrainian Special Forces Eliminate Occupants in Pokrovsk: New Details and Key Battles
An in-depth overview of Ukrainian military successes in Pokrovsk and its surroundings has been made public after the Security Service of Ukraine released compelling footage showing the destruction of Russian occupants.
Special units of the Alpha Counterintelligence Center over the past year have achieved significant results in their counteroffensive in Donetsk region: approximately 9,500 enemy personnel have been neutralized, along with substantial amounts of military equipment and positions destroyed.
According to official reports, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 255 tanks, 433 armored combat vehicles, 343 artillery systems and missile launchers, 78 air defense systems, 12 electronic warfare assets, over 4,500 units of vehicles, and destroyed more than 3,800 enemy fortifications and depots.
The losses among invading forces also include ammunition and fuel depots.
The «Rubezh» brigade emphasized the difficulty of fighting for Pokrovsk due to the strong resistance and strategic importance of the city.
Earlier reports indicated that Ukrainian soldiers from the 425th Separate Assault Regiment conducted a successful operation in the city center, liberated the city council building, and raised the Ukrainian flag, thus refuting Russian propaganda claims of complete control over the city.
