Intense Frontline Combat: Russian Forces’ Persistent Assaults and Ukrainian Defense
Recent reports from the Ukrainian military command indicate ongoing intense hostilities across different sectors of the front line.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have engaged in 164 battles, with 55 of these occurring on the Pokrovsk direction alone.
The Ukrainian General Staff detailed that the enemy launched a combination of missile and aviation strikes—one missile attack and thirty-seven air raids—deploying six missiles and dropping 95 guided aerial bombs.
Additionally, over 2,693 kamikaze drones and nearly 3,839 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements were recorded.
The northern and southeastern sectors saw Ukrainian defenders successfully repel multiple assaults; specifically, they prevented eight storming attempts in the Kharkiv region and thwarted several counterattacks in the Lyman sector.
Battles in areas around Kostiantynivka and Kramatorsk continue, with Ukrainian troops holding their lines against persistent enemy efforts.
Russia continues attempts to breach defenses in areas such as Chervony Lyman, Fedorivka, and Myrnograd, but Ukrainian forces maintain resilience.
The fighting has also intensified along the direction of Orikhiv and Huliaipole, with ongoing combat and airstrikes targeting Russian troop concentrations and equipment, demonstrating the relentless nature of the current offensive.
