Zelensky applauds special forces victory in Pokrovsk: successes against invaders
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his profound gratitude and support for Ukraine’s special forces, particularly the Alpha Center of the Security Service of Ukraine, for their outstanding achievements in combating Russian invaders in the Pokrovsk region and its surroundings.
In a video message shared on social media, Zelensky highlighted that Ukrainian military personnel, especially special operations soldiers, are systematically and highly effectively destroying enemy forces and equipment in Donetsk region, significantly strengthening the country’s defense.
The president emphasized that these heroic efforts are recognized at the national level—showcasing professionalism and courage.
Moreover, he pointed out that other Ukrainian units, including assault brigades, drone operators, National Guard troops, military law enforcement, and GUR, are all actively involved in defending Ukraine’s territorial integrity and the peaceful population.
The background of these events notes that as early as November 4, analytical center DeepState reported ongoing enemy buildup in Pokrovsk, making the situation critically dangerous.
Concurrently, the Security Service of Ukraine released footage of Russian troops and equipment destroyed in the city, demonstrating the high effectiveness of Ukrainian special forces in repelling invaders.
