Ukrainian Forces Destroy Russian ‘Robots’ Near Pokrovsk: Frontline Tactics and Combat Highlights

Chas Pravdy - 05 November 2025 10:53

The frontlines near the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region remain tense, marked by ongoing combat involving advanced unmanned and robotic platforms.

Recently, Ukrainian soldiers have demonstrated effective tactics in targeting Russian machines — known as ‘robots’ or NPKs — that the invading forces use to supply logistics and evacuate the wounded.

Ukrainian paratroopers from the DShV unit managed to establish a corridor for supplies directly into Pokrovsk, though logistics remain heavily challenging due to the deteriorating security situation.

Both sides are increasingly relying on robotic systems to transport ammunition, supplies, and evacuate wounded, a response to the rising threats on the battlefield.

Military analyst Stanislav ‘Osman’ Bunyatov shared footage on his Telegram channel showcasing Ukrainian units from the 79th Air Assault Brigade destroying one such Russian NPK, highlighting Ukraine’s advancements in neutralizing enemy robotic assets.

Russian forces are also reported to intensify their use of UAVs and kamikaze drones, further complicating logistics and making traditional supply routes unsafe.

Consequently, Ukrainian troops are often forced to march on foot for miles as vehicle movement becomes perilous.

Special forces of the SBU have also been actively engaged in operations, eliminating over 1500 Russian occupiers in this sector over the past month, underscoring Ukraine’s determination and strategic resilience in defending its territory.
