Military Operations on the Lyman Front: Ukrainian Forces Effectively Combating Russian Infiltrators
The fighting continues fiercely on the Lyman front, where Ukrainian troops are actively confronting enemy forces, particularly Russian ‘infiltrators’ attempting to break through defenses.
According to Rostislav Yashchishin, communications officer of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, Ukrainian defenders are employing modern tactics, including specialized clearance groups, which effectively eliminate enemy infiltrator units.
These ‘infiltrators’ usually advance with minimal gear, trying to push through Ukrainian positions, only to retreat and regroup for new assaults.
Although this strategy yields some tactical gains for the Russian side, it results in significant losses for the aggressors.
As of November 4, the situation remains tense, with Ukrainian units holding their positions and inflicting heavy casualties on Russian forces.
Ukrainian military operations utilize a comprehensive approach, involving both air and ground clearance teams, which proves highly effective in accomplishing combat objectives.
Rostislav Yashchishin noted the impressive results of Ukrainian efforts, comparing their cleaning operations to ‘a thorough cleanup’ that leaves the area safer and better controlled.
Meanwhile, in the vicinity of Pokrovsk and the Donetsk region, the situation remains critical.
Russian troops have advanced deeply into the city, and the sky over Pokrovsk is darkened by unmanned aerial vehicles and enemy drones.
Artem Pribilnov, communications officer of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Anna Kyivska, reports that about 200 enemy soldiers are currently deployed in the area, posing a significant threat to local security and increasing enemy combat activity.
