Ukrainian paratroopers establish new supply corridor in occupied Pokrovsk amid ongoing combat
Amid fierce fighting for the strategic city of Pokrovsk, Ukrainian paratroopers have successfully established a new logistical corridor to ensure supply lines in this heavily contested region.
Today, various sources confirmed that Ukrainian forces took decisive measures to unblock logistical routes, making a significant advance in their effort to control the city.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky personally visited the northern flank of the Pokrovsk sector, particularly the Dobropillia area, where the situation remains tense and challenging.
Military reports indicate that, thanks to the efforts of the 7th Rapid Response Corps, the paratroopers achieved success in creating a passage for transporting essential resources.
Corps spokesman Serhii Okishev explained that the goal is to push the enemy forces to the northeast of Pokrovsk, dissolve the encirclement, and deprive them of fire control over Ukrainian logistics.
Meanwhile, the enemy has intensified the use of UAVs and strike drones in this sector, complicating the situation for Ukrainian defenders.
Intelligence reports also state that following a successful GUR landing in Pokrovsk, additional special forces units have joined the operation, and the city remains under heavy combat.
