Successful evacuation of severely wounded soldier using robotic system after 33 days of ordeal
Thanks to a modern ground robotic system, Ukrainian soldiers carried out a complex operation to evacuate a severely wounded soldier who had been with a tourniquet for over a month.
According to the first separate medical battalion, this operation lasted more than six hours and involved multiple attempts, as previous efforts failed due to technical damage or loss of communication.A total of seven attempts were made: the first was unsuccessful, while the sixth faced repeated difficulties.
Only on the seventh attempt was the soldier successfully evacuated from the enemy-controlled settlement.
The route covered over 64 kilometers, with 37 kilometers on damaged roads, and in the process, the NPK equipment was hit by an anti-personnel mine, but it continued to operate despite the damage.
During the journey, the robotic system endured numerous obstacles — a damaged wheel, drone fire, and enemy attacks.As a result of the evacuation, the wounded soldier was handed over to medical personnel.
His life is no longer at risk, and he is receiving necessary treatment.
