Explosion and Collapse at Oil Chemical Plant in Russian City Amid Drone Threat
In the Russian city of Sterlitamak, located in Bashkortostan, a significant incident occurred amidst threats of drone attacks, resulting in an explosion and partial collapse of a chemical plant workshop.
According to local sources, the incident took place near the water purification facility of JSC «SNHZ», where an explosion caused part of the production building to collapse.
The regional authorities confirmed that the cause of the explosion is currently under investigation, and investigative measures are ongoing to determine the circumstances.
An official city spokesperson reported that a section of the workshop was damaged, and efforts are underway to establish what triggered the blast.
