Escalation of combat operations on the front line: over fifty clashes in a day
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the situation on the front remains highly tense as of the morning of November 3.
During this period, at least 151 combat encounters have taken place, with 57 of them in the Pokrovsky sector, indicating persistent high activity from Russian occupying forces.
Throughout the day, the enemy launched three missile strikes using nine missiles, conducted 53 air strikes, dropping over 100 guided bombs.
Additionally, more than 3,000 kamikaze drones were used in attacks against Ukrainian positions and settlements.
These attacks have caused substantial damage and pose serious security threats.
Geographically, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy advances in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, thwarting one offensive attempt.
In the South Slobozhansky area, Ukrainian troops stopped six enemy attacks near Vovchansk, Kamenka, and Bologivka.
On the Kupiansk front, 13 enemy assaults were repelled around Petro–pavlivka, Pishanoye, Novoosynove, and Kurylivka.
The Lyman direction saw 10 attacks, targeting areas near Myrne, Novoselivka, Drobyshove, Stovok, and Korovyi Yar.
In the Sloviansk sector, defensive forces repelled seven attacks near Serebryanka and Viyamka.
No active offensive actions from the enemy have been recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.
Meanwhile, in the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces launched 15 attacks on Ukrainian positions in neighborhoods including Oleksandro-Shultine, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, Ivanopillia, Shcherbinivka, and Rusyn Yar, with efforts concentrated around Novopavlivka, Sukhyi Yar, and others.
The Pokrovsk direction witnessed 57 enemy attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses in multiple settlements such as Shaive, Volodymyrivka, Ivanivka, and more.
On the Oleksandrivka sector, 16 attack attempts were registered in areas including Sichneve, Vorone, Stepove, among others.
The Gulyaypil sector sees ongoing clashes, with 8 skirmishes reported in the vicinity of Okhotnyche, three of which are still ongoing.
In the Oreikhiv direction, the enemy launched two attacks around Stepnogirske and Stepove.
The Dnipro direction features two offensive attempts near the Antonivskyi Bridge, indicating persistent enemy activity in this critical area.
