Ukrainian Armed Forces Advance in Donetsk Region, Inflicting Heavy Losses on Enemy
In the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are demonstrating significant progress in their counteroffensive operations, pushing forward in several strategic sectors, particularly around Bourapillia.
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian army, Oleksandr Syrskyi, confirmed the military successes, stating that Ukrainian troops have liberated more than 188 square kilometers of territory and have cleared an additional 248.7 square kilometers of area from Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
This indicates an active and effective operation aimed at reclaiming occupied territories and weakening enemy positions.
According to Syrskyi, Russian forces are suffering substantial losses due to Ukrainian attacks, including massive offensives that have involved deploying up to 29 units of equipment in a single assault near Bouriapillia.
These efforts constrain Russian advances and help Ukrainian defenders maintain the initiative.
Additionally, in October, Ukrainian forces liberated the village of Kucheriv Yar, and they continue to hold their positions against intensive Russian attacks.
Despite a large-scale assault involving multiple military units on the areas of Shakove and Volodymyrivka, Ukrainian troops managed to repel the enemy and prevent further progress into key strategic zones.
