Zelensky announces significant Ukrainian military successes in the Pokrovsk direction
President Volodymyr Zelensky, during his recent briefing, delivered an important update regarding the frontline situation, specifically in the Pokrovsk area.
According to his statement, Ukrainian forces have achieved visible results in eliminating enemy occupation forces, demonstrating effective action and highlighting the courage and professionalism of Ukrainian defenders.
Zelensky especially praised the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade, and expressed gratitude to the special operations forces, military police, National Police, SBU, and intelligence for their active and successful operations both in the Pokrovsk and Kupyansk regions.
Further details: The president noted that soldiers from the 1st Separate Assault Battalion have proven their excellence in combat operations in the eastern part of the country.
He also highlighted successful fire support provided by the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade in the Pokrovsk area, and heroic efforts by the units of the 127th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade, which secured and fought around Kupyansk and nearby areas.
