Chas Pravdy - 02 November 2025 05:29

Recent operational reports indicate significant changes along the frontline in the Lyman area.

According to the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Ukrainian military forces have successfully made progress northeast of Yampol and southeast of Lyman.

Geolocation videos released on October 31st serve as evidence, confirming that the Ukrainian armed forces have advanced in this sector of the front.

These developments are also supported by Ukrainian unit reports and observations by analysts.

Meanwhile, the Russian side reports that their troops are also actively fighting in this zone, attempting to halt the Ukrainian advance.

UAV units operating in the Lyman direction noted on November 1st that Russian forces are mainly attacking with infantry, with a reduced use of equipment.

Regarding the Lyman direction, the occupying forces are focusing on infiltration tactics and robotics.

The Ukrainian General Staff reports that the enemy launched at least five attacks in the areas of Koroviy Yar, Zarychne, Stavy, and towards Lyman, trying to push forward.

It is also known that there is active infiltration of Russian units near Pokrovsk, as they move through the southern borders of the city, complicating the situation for Ukrainian troops and highlighting the tense situation in this sector.
