On the night of November 2nd, Russian unmanned aerial vehicles of the “Shahed” type attacked the city of Novhorod-Siverskyi in the Chernihiv region.

According to local military administration reports, combat drones dropped explosives in the residential sector of the city, causing damage to several residential buildings.

At the time of the attack, no casualties were reported, but information regarding potential injuries and the extent of damage is being clarified.

An air raid alert lasted over two hours, from 22:36 on November 1st until 0:38 in the early hours of November 2nd.

The head of the local military administration, Oleksandr Seliverstov, stated that Ukrainian defense forces responded actively, detecting several other drones flying in the north of Chernihiv and Sums regions, heading southwest.

Furthermore, shortly after, around 23:00, explosions were recorded in the Izmail district of Odessa region, where the Russians attacked the southern part of the region using attack drones.

This repeatedly highlights the tense situation on Ukraine’s northern and southern fronts, which has persisted since the beginning of the war.

As of now, information about casualties and damage is still being clarified, but it is evident that the enemy continues targeted attacks on Ukrainian territory and civilians.
