Ukrainian defenders repel over a hundred enemy attacks in a single day
On the morning of October 31, Ukrainian troops recorded over 130 combat engagements across all major frontlines, with the majority occurring in the Pokrovsk sector.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff report at 10:00 PM, a total of 137 combat clashes took place during the day, demonstrating the resolute determination and bravery of Ukrainian defenders as they actively repelled numerous enemy counterattacks and inflicted significant losses.
Throughout the day, the enemy launched 50 airstrikes, dropping over 100 guided bombs.
Active combat operations were observed on several key fronts, including the North Slobozhanshchyna, Kursk, Kupiansk, Lyman, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk directions.
Ukrainian units successfully repelled dozens of attacks, halted enemy advances, and maintained defense in strategic positions.
Notably, in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses over 40 times by attacking populated areas and suburbs.
Meanwhile, in the directions of Oleksandrivka, Huliaipole, Orihiv, and the Dnipro region, Ukrainian troops bravely hold the line and prevent enemy progress.
Overall, the situation remains tense, but Ukrainian forces continue to demonstrate high combat readiness and the ability to counteract the adversary even under the most challenging conditions.
