Russian Shelling in Zaporizhzhia Region: Over 700 Attacks in a Day
During the past day, Russian forces launched a large-scale and targeted offensive on the Zaporizhzhia region, conducting over 700 shellings across various settlements in the area.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, the enemy employed all available weapons, including aviation, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and drones, making this attack one of the most extensive recent incursions.
Details indicate that the Russian troops carried out at least nine air strikes on the settlements of Lukyanivske, Novoyakovlivka, Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Zelene Hai, Rivnopillia, Solodke, and Dorožniańtsia.Moreover, over 470 drones of various models, primarily FPV, targeted regions such as Barvínivka, Yurkivka, Ternuvatе, Veselianе, Stepnogirka, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Shcherbyky, Novodanilivka, Novomykolaivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohoir’ya, and Nova Tokmachka.Additionally, Russian forces used 12 MRLS to shell Huliaipole, Preobrazhenka, and Novoandriivka.
Artillery strikes hit areas including Stepnogirka, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Shcherbyky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novomykolaivka, Charivne, Bilohoir’ya, and Novo.According to local reports, 42 incidents involved damaged residential buildings, infrastructure objects, and vehicles.
These events highlight the increasing intensity of shellings and destruction in southern Ukraine caused by Russian military actions.
