Over 720,000 Ukrainians Received Automatic Postponement Extensions from Mobilization, Says Shmyhal
On November 1st, Ukrainian servicemen and eligible citizens could observe significant changes in the process of applying for deferrals from mobilization.
Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal announced that over 720,000 Ukrainians, who had already applied or previously received deferrals, were automatically granted extensions without the need for additional contact with military or government agencies.
This was made possible because all data registers had been updated and synchronized, streamlining the process and making it more accessible for citizens.
According to Shmyhal, more than 80% of requests are now submitted via the Rezerv+ mobile app, eliminating the need for certificates or personal visits.
Those still using paper documents can now submit their applications at Centers for Administrative Services (CAS), instead of military enlistment offices.
On that day alone, nearly 4,000 applications were received at CAS, highlighting the increasing popularity of digital services in this sphere.
The minister also urged citizens who are able to do so to process deferrals through the Rezerv+ app, as this method is faster and more convenient.
