Chas Pravdy - 31 October 2025 17:30

On Sunday, Ukraine’s Naval Forces launched a significant strike against Russian energy infrastructure, targeting the Orlovskaya thermal power plant and an electrical substation in Novobransk.

According to the Navy, this operation was carried out using Ukrainian-made Neptune cruise missiles.

The attacked facilities supplied power to military enterprises in the region, making it a strategic blow to the logistics and military-industrial complex of the Russian occupiers.

Ukrainian military officials emphasized that this act demonstrates Ukraine’s unwavering stance to defend its territory and to target enemy logistical points.

Navy representatives noted that since the beginning of active hostilities, Neptune missiles have repeatedly targeted Russian objectives, inflicting considerable damage.

Reports of new strikes highlight increased Ukrainian counteroffensive efforts and heightened mobilization of the country’s defense forces.

This confirms Ukraine’s ongoing ability to effectively neutralize key enemy assets and disrupt their logistics, thereby strengthening its position in the ongoing conflict.
