Ukraine Implements Hourly Power Outage Schedules Amid New Massive Russian Attack

Chas Pravdy - 30 October 2025 09:37

Following another extensive missile and drone attack by Russia on Ukraine’s critical energy infrastructure, the country has once again activated hourly electricity outage schedules.

Authorities and energy companies, together with ‘Ukrenergo,’ have announced that all regions are experiencing measures to limit electricity consumption designed to stabilize the power system.

These restrictions involve scheduled power outages from morning to evening, specifically from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The goal is to stabilize the energy grid during ongoing missile strikes, which significantly disrupt the reliable power supply nationwide.

Industrial consumers are also affected by power reduction schedules.

Detailed outage times and volumes are available on the official websites of regional energy providers.

It is important to note that the situation within the power system can change rapidly, and citizens are advised to stay informed through updates from energy companies and to practice energy-saving measures.

At 6:50 AM on Thursday, ‘Ukrenergo’ reported emergency power outages across most regions due to the ongoing attack, followed by stabilization outages intended to protect critical infrastructure from further damage and failures.
