Russian Ballistic Missile Strikes Dnipro: Infrastructure Damaged and New Threat from Occupied Crimea
On the night of Thursday, October 30, Ukrainian defenders recorded yet another act of aggression from Russian forces — a ballistic missile attack on the city of Dnipro.
According to the Ukrainian Air Forces, there was an imminent threat of missile deployment from the temporarily occupied Crimea, which heightened alertness among military personnel.
Around noon, military sources reported the launch of a high-speed missile toward the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko, announced that the Russian missile strikes caused damage to an infrastructure facility within the city, although no official data was available yet regarding casualties or the extent of destruction.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing threat emanating from Crimea, where Russian troops continue to utilize tactical aviation to carry out strikes on Ukrainian cities.
Over the past few days, Ukrainian forces have intercepted three glide bombs UMPB-5/Grom-E launched from jet aircraft towards Kamyanske, a city located over 120 kilometers from the frontline.
